Haematology Clinical Trials Research Unit receives $230,000!

At the International Women’s Day Breakfast held on 8th March 2023, the Foundation for A Bloody Great Cause and The Bloody Great Committee were thrilled to present a cheque for $230 000 to the Haematology Clinical Research Unit (HCRU).

This money was raised at A Bloody Great Night Out! held in October 2022 and at the Mayor’s Golf Day 2022 held at Massey Park and sponsored by City of Canada Bay Council.

Without all our amazing sponsors, supporters who attended events, bought raffle tickets and all our donors and your ongoing generosity, this cheque would not be a reality. The Foundation and the Committee also wishes to thank all their hard working members & volunteers who have worked non-stop in the last year to raise this money.

These funds will be used to provide more clinical research nurses so more patients can have access to live saving, blood cancer clinical trials at the Haematology Clinical Research Unit at Concord Hospital.
