On Wednesday 18th October, Dr Nicole Wong Doo and the Concord Hospital Haematology Department hosted a Patient and Carer’s Education day at Concord Hospital Medical Education Centre.

Thank you to everyone who bought tickets in our Bloody Great Sports Raffle at Concord Hospital or at Ferragosto at Five Dock. What an amazing day celebrating Italian culture with the community!

I have been involved in a clinical trial as a patient at Concord Hospital for the last six years. I’m still going well in the clinical trial. This trial has changed my life and restored my quality of life. I now have more energy to enjoy the things I love with family, and longer road bike rides with friends on the weekends.

At the International Women’s Day Breakfast held on 8th March 2023, the Foundation for A Bloody Great Cause and The Bloody Great Committee were thrilled to present a cheque for $230 000 to the Haematology Clinical Research Unit (HCRU).
